UBMD Internal Medicine is one of 18 medical practices in the UBMD Physicians’ Group. Our physicians are internists first, certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine to treat adult patients. Our specialists are certified in the primary sub-specialties associated with Internal Medicine, specifically:

- Behavioral Medicine
- Cardiology & Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
- Geriatrics & Palliative Care
- Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition

- Internal Medicine - Pediatrics (Children & Adult Medicine)

- Pulmonology, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine
Our physicians are also professors in the Department of Medicine at the University at Buffalo, teaching the next generation of physicians. Lastly, they are researchers investigating treatments for unsolved medical problems.
Our healthcare team includes Physician Assistants (PAs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs) and Medical Assistants, among others.
Our administrative staff includes medical billers, accountants, information technology personnel, administrative personnel, human resources personnel, medical student/housestaff coordinators for the residency program, medical records personnel, compliance, credentialing, customer support, managers, business developers, operations analysts, marketing staff, and others.
